New Dance Dates Announced!
Sunday Dances at Darrrylz
Hello, everyone! We would like to announce Sunday Dances at Darrylz (formerly known as the Italian Terrace) on March 19th and April 9th from 3-6.
A lesson followed by music to practice and meet new people. No experience or partners necessary!!
Darrylz offers a buffet from 11-3 on Sundays for $11.95, if you so wish (great food!) but this is not required to attend the dance.
Darrylz is right across the river, heading east on Market Street go over the bridge and take your first left, Darrylz is immediately on your right. Darrylz number: 523-3278.
Lewisburg Swing Dance Club Presents:
Dance with Live Band!
Come dance with a live band! 3-6. Sink or Swing will play from 4-6. There will be a beginner lesson from 3-3:45.
Again, no experience or partner necessary!
Additionally:
On April 1st Susquehanna University Swing Club will be hosting a dance with a live band. We'll provide more info here on this blog as soon as we have it.

I'm glad to see some more interest in swing dancing. My husband and I took some additional lessons at the Donald Heiter Community Center back in 1999 or 2000, then asked the teachers to teach a group of friends in the basement of Bookseller's (now an antique furniture store). Then we set up free monthly lessons and swing dancing at the Italian Terrace, announcing it each week in the Daily Item. It finally died down from lack of attendance, I guess we were five years too early!! It's so much fun, though, have a ball! And good luck.
